‘Thank You for the support’ – ISRO tweets

After losing communication with Chandrayaan-2 lander Vikram, the Indian Space Research Organisation is making its trails along with NASA to re-establish the contact. Now, ISRO tweeted a thank you note for all the support that has been poured on them since it lost contact 10 days ago.

“Thank you for standing by us. We will continue to keep going forward – propelled by the hopes and dreams of Indians across the world!” – tweeted the ISRO. They have also posted a picture of a graphic Moon with a man’s silhouette and the image had text, “Thank you for inspiring us to always aim for the sky”.

After 10 days, the ISRO tweeted a thank you note and it lost contact with Vikram just 2.1km before landing on the south pole of the Moon. On the other hand, NASA’s lunar orbiter was scheduled to take photographs of the lander yesterday in order to know the status of Vikram. But, there is no information or update from either agency. With only 4 days left, ISRO is all nervous and Indians are hoping to receive a positive word from them.
