That’s In Hyd: Hindu-Muslim Bhai Bhai

The Hindu-Muslim conflicts earlier have always kept their relation feeble. They lived more like strangers, not enemies, often less friends. But living together was seldom witnessed. The latest picture of Hindus celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi and Muslims mourning on the Muharram together goes viral. The image was snapped in Telangana and it depicts communal harmony in a beautiful way.

The two communities offer prayers on the same street, side by side, in an amicable manner. The picture shows both religion men handshaking while exchanging smiles. This picture, not only looks ideal for society’s peace but also teaches how a festival should be celebrated together, irrespective of religion, creed and caste.

Earlier too, though they were many brutal conflicts between these two religion men, many instances showed peaceful confrontations. The communities now coming together is indeed a proud moment. Muslim-Hindu relation has become stronger in certain areas this year as both Ganesh Chaturthi and Muharram fell in the same month and people together celebrated in unity.
