The Secret Ingredient Behind Sye Raa’s Action Sequences

After looking at the “Battlefield” trailer of Sye Raa, many are awestruck with the way action sequences of the film have turned up. They are slick, edgy, powerful, striking, bloody and kick-ass we have to say. So what made those sequences turn up so interesting?

Many Telugu filmmakers tried to imitate stunts from films like The 300, Gladiator, Game of Thrones series and more, but not achieved the perfection and realistic quality Sye Raa did. So what is that secret ingredient Sye Raa has poured in? For that, we have to say that there are many factors, not just one.

To create such stunts, firstly Sye Raa got the same Hollywood choreographers like Lee Whittaker and Greg Powel to handle the job. They chose the right terrain, right fighters and right equipment to film such work. Most of the fights are extensively canned in Kokapet set and Georgia, where they have master control on what is happening.

Then they got a top-notch visual effects team in place to assist the fights. From wire removals to creating digital body doubles, they have arranged everything to make the actions sequences seamless and merged live-action with 3D work in a realistic manner.

On top of everything, the ability of Ram Charan to pour huge budgets made these first rate action sequences possible and we have to appreciate that. Let’s not forget director Surender Reddy’s contribution as well.
