Today’s Chanakya predicts AP will favour TDP

Amidst all the din and noise of exit polls predictions where most of them have stated that YSR Congress has the edge compared to the ruling Telugu Desam Party, the only national media, News 24 Today’s Chanakya has stated that the TDP will be ahead of the YSRCP.

Interestingly, according to the TCPPoll Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha Seat Projection, Telugu Desam Party will get 17 ± 3 seats while the YSR Congress will get 8 ± 3 Seats while others will get no seats at all. Going by News 24’s TC poll prediction, AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief will retain another term in the state.

However, his dream of playing a kingmaker at the Centre may not take off as the YSRCP’s Jagan Mohan Reddy made a significant dent in the Lok Sabha elections, according to the TCPoll. According to Today’s Chanakya, the India Lok Sabha Tally 2019 is BJP – 300 ± 14 Seats, NDA – 350 ± 14 Seats, Congress – 55 ± 9 Seats, UPA – 95 ± 9 Seats, Others – 97 ± 11 Seats.

Meanwhile, other surveys have all predicted the result in favour of Jagan’s party. If Chandrababu Naidu does return to power this time, it would be a remarkable comeback as he faced several challenges in the election, the first to be held in the state following its bifurcation in 2014. This was also the first time in the history of the TDP to contest alone in Andhra Pradesh, without any alliances.
