Varma In Talks, Balaiah In Action?

At a time when controversial film director RGV is concentrating more on creating an artificial hype for his yet-to-be-started film Lakshmi’s NTR by indulging in a war of words with the TDP leaders on his social media platform, senior actor Balakrishna is said to be silently speeding up the work on the biopic on his late father NTR, founder of TDP and former chief minister.

Not a day is passing without Varma entering into a verbal war with the TDP leaders like ridiculing minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and MLA V Anitha, who have been criticising him for trying to distort the life of NTR.

On Friday, minister Amarnath Reddy and actress Vani Vishwanath came down heavily on Varma for coming out with one-sided script on NTR film.

So far, Varma has just announced the name of the film, producer and a poster. Apparently, there is no script ready and no cast or technical staff has been finalised.

On the other hand, sources say Balakrishna is already ready with the script and is giving final touches. He is said to be planning to dub the film simultaneously into Hindi and other South Indian languages.

Director Teja, who is handling the megaphone for the prestigious project, has already finalised NTR’s own village Nimmakuru for initial parts of the story and then Chennai.

NTR’s abandoned house at Chennai is being spruced up for the shooting purpose, say sources.

If everything goes well, Balayya will release the film by May 28, the birth anniversary of NTR, sources said.
