Venkatesh to hijack Rana’s Viraata Parvam’s date

The makers of Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi‘s Viraata Parvam had recently announced that the film will be out in theatres on 30th of April. But the latest reports suggest that the periodic drama might be postponed to a later date.

Reportedly, Suresh Babu, who is producing Venkatesh’s Naarappa feels that releasing the film on 14th May, just a day after Chiranjeevi’s Acharya (May 13th) will dent its box office prospects. He wants to give the film a free run at the box at least for a week or so.

So, Suresh Babu is contemplating a new release date now. He wants to lock 30th April as Naarappa’s release date and he is in talks with the makers of Viraata Parvam, asking them to postpone the release.

It is said that the producers of Viraata Parvam formally agreed to alter the release date and in all likelihood, Venkatesh’s Naarappa will be out in theaters on 30th April. Viraata Parvam will be getting a new release date and the final call on the same will be taken soon.

Vishwak Sen’s Paagal is also slated for release on 30th April and it appears to be that Venkatesh’s Naarappa will be clashing with the former.
