Reports say Vidya Balan has signed NT Rama Rao’s biopic to play the role of Basavatarakam, NT Rama Rao’s wife. However, reports from Mumbai say she said no, after initially showing interest. The role was first offered to Nithya Menon, but she recently informed the media that she is not doing the movie.
Grapevine has it that director and his team approached Vidya Balan after Nithya Menon turned the role down.Although Vidya Balan evinced interest to be part of this big project which narrates the life story of NT Rama Rao, latest reports say she has changed her mind after considering lengthy schedules.
However, it is not clear if she has completely turned down the film or if she will change her mind if she is persuaded again.On the other hand, the movie is all set to be launched this month end. Regular shoot will begin in June or July.
