Actor cum producer Nagababu who is an active member in Movie Artists Association (MAA) and is playing the big brother role in the industry of late to resolve issues of small time actors has met the Film Chamber President Kiran and producer Council President KL Narayana to discuss three things with them.
Reacting to casting couch row Nagababu said, “I spoke to Kiran gaaru and KL Narayana gaaru about casting couch issue and they told me of instigating a committee soon. I’ve told them that actors need to have direct access with them to complain about any disorder on movie sets. They readily accepted it.”About providing required facilities for female artists on sets, Nagababu said, “I also requested them to provide minimum services like toilets, dress change facilities etc. They agreed to resolve this matter as well.”
About coordinators system, Nagababu affirmed, “Even, they too were shocked to know that the mediators are taking huge commissions from artists. I told them to come up with a perfect plan to help artists. I hope, an announcement will come on this soon, maybe in a week days, or else I’ll meet them again.”
Good to see Nagababu taking time off to meet industry biggies to take necessary actions to assist small time artists.He also responded on casting couch, whereas most of the Tollywood celebs are keeping mum over this issue.
