What Is Sye Raa Doing In Pondicherry?

From a long time, upcoming magnum opus Sye Raa is being shot by director Surender Reddy and Megastar Chiranjeevi is said to have given full freedom to the director Surender Reddy to come up with a sensational output. And now, the film’s unit has moved to Pondicherry in Tamil Nadu for the same.

There are some scenes related to the British rules and administrative officer, where the likes of Uyyawalada Narasimha Reddy and others first meet Britishers when these invaders of India laid terms for giving up of properties and taking a pension from the government. Currently, those scenes are getting shot at Pondicherry where some colonial-era buildings built by English and French still exist.

As the film happens to be a historic one, both Chiranjeevi and Charan are said to be insisting Surender Reddy for a realistic portrayal of everything. For that reason, all the forts, buildings and looks of artists are carefully worked upon by the director and his team. They are saying that Pondicherry schedule, which will be seen in the film as Madras episode, will be an interesting one.
