Why Ajay Devgn declined Shankar’s Indian 2?

A few days back reports of Ajay Devgn have been approached for Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ were all over the media.

It was being reported that he was offered to play the villain and he declined the same as he did not want to play a negative role.

Now, Ajay has revealed the real reason behind the same.

The ‘Golmaal 4’ actor said that he would have loved to be in Shankar’s movie, however, dates were not available.

He added that the director wanted him to shoot the movie right now and he is currently stuck with ‘Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior’.

Talking about the rumours of him rejecting the movie, he said that for an artiste, there is no shades of grey, black or white. He said that the more layers the actor have in a role, the better it is.

Ajay stated that he loved doing movies like ‘Khakee’, ‘Company’ where his negative characters were appreciated.

He further said that he cannot tell if the role in ‘Indian 2’ was grey or not as he is not doing it.
