Jana Sena founder and actor Pawan Kalyan, on Sunday, had a meeting with 150 research members, who were selected for various posts including content writers & speakers, from Ananthapur district at his office in Hyderabad. The actor-cum-politico has announced an expansion plan for the party members and directed cadre to stay focused on public issues.
Pawan engaged with Jana Sena workers one-on-one and keenly listened to their views, besides reiterating that he will only contest from Ananthapur district in 2019 polls. ‘I will continue to work for public issues till my last breath and if needed, I’m even ready to postpone my films,’ declared Kalyan to the new members of Sena.
Reacting to the criticism from people who said Pawan is not a full-time politician, he questioned, ‘who is a full-time politician here? Several leaders are making lakhs and crores of money by sitting at home. But, I’m working on films only for my family and staff.’
While Jana Senani is under scanner on how he will get his political show on the road, Pawan clarified that he would soon begin it with a 3-day padayatra in Ananthapur district.
On the acting front, the star actor is now working on Trivikram’s project that has two leading ladies. He signed a couple of other movies too.
