Writer-Director Clarifies On Suicide Rumours

It was a shocking news other day to hear that writer and director Rajasimha of “Okka Ammayi Tappi” and “Rudramadevi” fame has attempted suicide at his stay in Mumbai. Though none knows what happened, speculations did rounds that he has taken an overdose of sleeping pills to give up this life fearing lack of work.

Taking to his social media page, writer Rajasimha clarified over what has happened. Though he hasn’t touched the suicide angle of the stories doing rounds, he stated that chronic health issue led to his unconsciousness. “I’m actually a diabetic patient. Last night when I didn’t take medicines, I’ve slipped into unconsciousness. It has become a big news as no one is around me. I’m hale and healthy now” said Rajasimha.

He further added that after coming back to Hyderabad in next couple of days he will throw more light on what has happened. Though Rajasimha didn’t make it clear, it looks like he hasn’t taken the extreme step of taking his life. However, the fact remains to be explained that why many talented writers and directors are ending up workless in the recent times.

Meanwhile, a movie camp in Hyderabad is said to have shocked with Rajasimha’s suicide rumours and they have sent a message to the director to meet them immediately after coming to Hyderabad. Looks like they will be giving him an offer soon.
