YS Jagan to play his role in Yatra?

The much anticipated biopic on iconic politician YS Rajashekara Reddy, Yatra, is currently in the final stages of filming. The film, which is based on YSR’s political journey, will highlight the crucial episodes from the state-wide Padayatra that he’d taken up ahead of 2004 elections. While the Malayalam Superstar Mammootty is reprising the role of YSR, Ashritha Vemuganti will be seen as Vijayamma in the film.

Several film stars were rumoured to have played the role of Jagan in Yatra, but the latest update is that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, opposition leader of AP, will seen in his character on the screen. But, the YSRCP supreme is not acting in this film. So, he will be part of it? Read on…

Film Yatra will only focus on Rajasekara Reddy’s ‘Padayatra’ and he was able to form government in 2004. YSR’s departure will be the climax of the film. But, some reports are under circulation that the original footage of YSR will be presented in last 20 minutes. So, in that footage, Jagan will be seen at the funeral procession of YSR.

The pre-release event of Yatra is slated to take place in Vizag on 1st February. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will grace this event as chief guest, and YS Vijayamma, Sharmila and Bharati are also likely to attend this event.
