Telangana Congress senior leader V Hanumanta Rao has outraged YS Sharmila. Sharmila’s Sankalpa Sabha to be held at Pavillion grounds in the Khammam district.
Speaking to the media, he questioned DGP Mahender Reddy that as people are trembling with fear due to the rapid spread of the second wave of coronavirus, how can Sharmila be allowed to hold a public meeting.
He demanded that the DGP should answer him. He said that Sharmila is just a daughter of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and nothing more.
“We are not allowed to go anywhere but she is allowed to conduct meetings. All this is a play being played by BJP, and TRS.
If Sharmila wants to do something she has to do it in Andhra,” he said. Former MP Hanumantha Rao alleged that the police are unilaterally paying homage to the ruling party.
