12th CBSE Results: Kejriwal’s Son, Smriti Irani’s Son Scored over 90%

The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the 12th Class results on Thursday. 12 lakh students appeared for the examination and 1005427 candidates have qualified. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s son Pulkit Kejriwal scored 96.4 percent and Union minister Smriti Irani’s son Zohr Irani got 91 percent in best of four subjects.

The CBSE Board Class 12th examination results once again proved that girls outshine boys with an impressive percentage of 88.70% while boys settle for 79.4 %. Two girls Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora have emerged as a joint topper and they have secured marks of 499 each. Hansika appeared for her CBSE Class 12 exams from Ghaziabad and Arora belonged to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.

The second set of toppers are Gaurangi Chawla from Rishikesh, Aishwarya of Rai Bareilly and Bhavya from Haryana who secured 498 marks. As many as 18 students, including 11 girls, scored 497 marks to claim the third position in the exam.

Hansika, the topper of the CBSE Class 12 exam, said she has secured 99 marks in English and 100 in other subjects including History, Political Science, Psychology and Hindustani vocal. She also said that she never attended any tuition and has achieved it just through self-study.

Trivandrum has topped with a pass percentage of 98.2% followed by Chennai and Delhi with the second and third positions.
