Commemorating the one year of governance, AP CM YS Jagan has convened a high-level meeting at CM camp office in Tadepalli where he elaborately talked about industrialization. CM Jagan said about 1400 companies are keen to invest about Rs 11,549 crore in the successor state of Andhra Pradesh.
“AP has 972 km of vast coast-line. It has four sea ports and six airports. Several companies are ready to invest in AP. 1400 companies are interested to invest about 11,459 crore in the state. Another 20 top companies are also interested. AP government is doing its best to protect businesses. In order to aid MSMEs, the government is offering economic support to them through YSR Navodaya scheme. The pending benefits are being released. All efforts have been put to save small industries during Covid 19,” said AP CM YS Jagan.
CM Jagan said AP state government’s top priority is to offer corrupt-free government and gave a call to enterpreneurs and business people to set up their investments in AP. He said AP has a lot of facilities and infrastructure for businesses to thrive. CM Jagan said the exports from the state are in a considerable manner. He said the state government is willing to offer the required land to industrialists to set up their industries in AP. He reiterated that AP has a strong and stable government with landslide majority of 151 MLAs and 22 MPs (fourth largest in the country).
Special Category Status Will Come : CM Jagan
CM Jagan assured the industrialists that the Special Category Status will be accorded to Andhra Pradesh and the state government would constantly pursue this matter with the Centre.
“Special Category Status will certainly come. If not today, it will come tomorrow. But we shouldn’t stop asking for the Special Status to the state. Had AP got the Special Category Status, the state would have got more SOPs,” said CM Jagan.
