The budget of a state represents its economic status. Generally, the budget number increases year by year and in the past, presenting 1 lakh crore rupees as budget is a sensation.
But now both the Telugu States are easily exceeding the 2lakh crore rupee mark and AP’s previous year budget was 2,27,974.99 crores.
But, it seem like AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Ready decided to restrict the budget below 2lakh crore rupees to negate the trend. There are obvious reasons for this decision.
Though every state proudly presents the highest numbers ever for every year, the money that would actually be spent is way lesser than the announced number. It is a hard truth that every citizen in the state should carry.
Hence, instead of increasing the budget Jagan wants to show the exact number that his government is willing to spend for the public.
Last year only 1.6 Lakh crores were spent and the profits are marginally lesser than expected. Hence Jagan wants to bid goodbye to those fake numbers and is trying to make everything perfect.
The estimated budget will be 1.80 lakh crores- 1.90 lakh crores and it is being said that Jagan will personally look after every penny that will be spent without any deviations in its distribution. Is this really that easy?
