United States has been the major contributing territory for Telugu cinema business from a long time.
New records have been set this year with some films piling up millions of dollars, but there were many films that failed to live up to expectations and left buyers in heavy losses.
Rangasthalam has created a new Non-Baabhubali record and Bharat Ane Nenu came very close to it. These are the two films in $ 3Million club this year.
Medium budget movies Mahanati and Geetha Govindam have set a new record for mid-range films in USA.
Aravindha Sametha and Agnyathavasi also entered the $ 2 Million club, but ended up as failures because of high prices they were bought for. Hit films Bhaagamathie and Tholi Prema were into Million Dollar club.
Awe and Devadas couldn’t make it to the Million dollar club but made it to the top highest grossing Telugu movies list of 2018.
