Father V/S Son: Split in Samajwadi Party as Mulayam Expels Akhilesh

Well it’s all happening in Uttar Pradesh politics. Akhilesh Yadav, CM and son of  Mulayam Singh Yadav, has been expelled from the party for 6years Just a head of crucial UP Assembly polls. This decision from Netaji came later this evening.  Mr. Ydav has also expelled  Ramgopal yadav his cousin for 6years.

Mulayam Singh has accused both Akhilesh and Ramgopal of weakening the party and said that they have been sacked. This is the second time that Ramgopal Yadav has been sacked in less than  months. ” I made Akhilesh the CM and now he does not even consult me,” said the father as he announced the son’s expulsion. Mr Singh would not immediately say who will be chief minister in place of Akhilesh Yadav. Elections in UP are expected to be announced any day now. Ramgopal Yadav who is a staunch supporter of Akhilesh has called on a meeting after the decision of expulsion came from netaji.

Earlier Mulayam Singh had issued a show cause notice to Akhilesh and Ramgopal asking his son why why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for releasing a parallel list of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh elections, which includes several party leaders who are close to him and who did not make it to the official list released by his father a day before.

A key meeting was called tomorrow by the Ex CM Mulayam Singh. This will give a clear picture on who will attend the meeting and who will stand by Akhilesh.Meanwhile the Akhilesh batch is in constant touch with the Congress on the political developments. On the other side Shivpal Yadav wrote a letter to party leaders asking them not to attend the meeting that is scheduled on January 1st. Akhilesh supporters gathered in huge numbers chanting “Akhilesh Zindabad “ slogans.
