Production house 14 Reels made a grand entry in Tollywood with the blockbuster Dookudu. Their subsequent two films with Mahesh however, Aagadu and 1-Nenokkadine ended up as disasters. This made them turn to making films with medium-range heroes.
While ‘Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha’ ended up as an average, the failure of LIE once again hit them hard and they are now said to be in financial distress.
Mahesh who has a strong attachment with this production house has now extended a helping hand to them.
After ‘Aagadu’, he promised to do another film for them. While Mahesh will reportedly not be taking any remuneration for that film, he will be getting a share in the profits.
The production house is now belived to be scouting for a young director with a good script rather than going in for fancy combinations.
