How About Pawan As Naidu’s Advisor?

Power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan has been touring different parts of the state as and when he finds time off his busy shooting schedule and raising issues of public concern in the respective areas – whether it is land acquisition issue in Amaravati, crop failure issue in Anantapur or pollution of water due to Mega Aqua Food park in West Godavari and mysterious kidney-related deaths in Uddanam area in Srikakulam.

And whenever he raises the issues, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is reacting promptly, if not immediately.

Whether he is really addressing those issues or not, Naidu is making statements saying that his government was making serious note of the issues and would take steps to resolve them.

He initiates some steps and Pawan is immensely satisfied because his so-called agitations are yielding some positive response from the Naidu government.

Naturally, this is being questioned by critics and rivals of Pawan and Naidu. They point out to a Telugu adage: “Nenu kottinattu chesthaa, nuvvu edchinattu cheyyi” (I act as if I am beating you and you act as if you are crying).

“If Pawan’s statements are so effective, why can’t Naidu appoint him as his advisor? Instead of wasting his time on addressing meetings, Pawan can as well join Naidu team as the advisor so that the chief minister can act upon his advices on public issues,” commented a Congress leader.

The surprising part is that while Naidu acts like responding to Pawan’s statements, he cares a damn for YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who also goes into the people and raises their issues.

“Why is he not responding to more serious issues raised by Jagan?” the leader asked.
