Talk is that Superstar Rajinikanth is finding hard to get theaters for his upcoming movie “Petta” in AP and Telangana as all the big Telugu releases have reserved the theaters in advance.
There is a chance that the film will release on January 25 if it doesn’t get enough number of screens for Sankranthi.
Akhil’s “Mr.Majnu” has already locked Jan 25 as its release date and the makers of the film have no plans of pulling it out from this date.
Even if Rajinikanth’s movie releases on Republic Day, Akhil movie will release as per the schedule.
Interestingly, Kalyan Ram who also needs a hit badly will be competing with Rajinikanth’s “Petta”. Kalyan Ram is currently acting in a thriller called “118”, that is produced by Mahesh Koneru.
Kalyan Ram is of the opinion that if he misses this Republic Day date, he will have to wait for summer for good release. So, he will be competing with Rajinikanth and Akhil.
