Amid several allegations and counter-allegations over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit between TDP and BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh, it is learnt that the Prime Minister will not be visiting the state anytime soon.
According to well-placed sources in the BJP, Modi is planning to launch few schemes for farmers amid a several backlash from the farming community and then visit Andhra Pradesh to claim that they are working towards their welfare. However, there is news that Modi’s visit to Thiruvananthapuram has been cancelled after which he was supposed to visit Guntur in Andhra Pradesh.
Ahead of his much hyped visit to the state, BJP leaders in the state demanded Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to welcome Modi as per the protocol. However, with this cancelled visit of the Prime Minister, BJP leaders are in a state of quandary as Modi was supposed to sound the poll bugle for Lok Sabha elections from Andhra Pradesh.
