Asking media folks to choose what is right and what is wrong, ace producer Dil Raju has given a super retort to “Petta” movie Telugu buyer (who is credited as producer anyway) Ashok Vallabhaneni.
Speaking at the trailer launch event of “F2” movie, Raju added that it is highly impossible to allot theatres to a non-Telugu cinema at a time when three big Telugu movies are in the race. “NTR Biopic, Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2 have confirmed their release dates six months back. How could you ask theatres for Petta that confirmed release date three weeks ago? You (Ashok) are saying that from 18th January all theatres will be empty and only Petta will run. Then release your film then itself” said Dil Raju.
“He made some cheap comments on us, but I’ve character and will not talk in that cheap way. But he is the same producer who got a maximum number of theatres from everyone for Nawaab and Sarkaar movies earlier. And now we want theatres for our own Telugu films that are made with staggering budgets. Everyone is doing business only, so earning money will be the top priority here” he further articulated.
Finally, Raju asked the media to choose and publish what is wrong and right. Obviously, Dil Raju is right.
