Naidu gives new definition to defections!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has given a new definition to defections before the forthcoming general elections.

According to him, all those who were joining the TDP are sincere and people of integrity. And those who are leaving the TDP and joining the YSR Congress party are selfish and opportunists.

This was the message Naidu has given on twitter on Saturday.

“All the leaders with honesty and integrity are joining the TDP from across the state, setting aside decades of their political and family rivalries and are extending solidarity with the TDP,” he said.

He referred to the families of Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy and K E Krishna Murthy in Kurnool.

“Similarly, royal families of Bobbili and Gajapathi Raju have also come together setting aside their rivalries. And in Kadapa, too, all factions have come together to join the TDP. The same spirit should be displayed all over the state,” he said.

In the same breath, the TDP president lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party for betraying the state.

“For the injustice done to the state by the BJP, people took up protests all over the state in a big way,” he said.

He also pointed out that no other Prime Minister of the country in the past had faced such kind of protests that were witnessed in Andhra Pradesh.

“No other Prime minister had ever been greeted with black flags. Narendra Modi has proved to be a miserable failure as prime minister,” he tweeted.
