If Rajamouli is there at the helm, surely we can expect things that are larger than life, on a scale that anyone will not even imagine. However, for the sake of #RRR, we hear that he has some alternate plans.
Like we revealed it already, Rajamouli’s #RRR featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the leads will be set in two times, with one story happening in the pre-Independent era and other one happening in the present day. And for that British Rule portion, many thought that the Baahubali maker will come up with many sets.
Though some sets of pre-Independent villages and police stations are built in Hyderabad, we hear that Rajamouli is avoiding sets for shooting some interior scenes. As the city of Kolkata is known as second London with it being the capital of British East India Company for a long time, there are a lot of Victorian-era buildings in the Bengal capital. As there are plenty of such constructions that are well-kept, shooting in those real locations will save a lot of money too.
And for the same, Rajamouli and his #RRR team is going to head to Kolkata for almost 30 days schedule now. While Jr NTR will join this schedule on Day 1, Ram Charan will join the team a while later.
