As an MLA from TDP, Nandamuri Balakrishna went on to visit his constituency Hindupur in Anantapur district, yesterday. He launched several welfare schemes on Wednesday and had plans to inaugurate a few development works in his constituency today.
He has also interacted with party activists and officials and spoke on the upcoming election preparations. However, amidst his two-day tour, Balakrishna is said to have faced an unpleasant situation.
His party vehicle has been blocked in the middle of the road by a group of women near Lepakshi Mandal, demanding to fulfil the water shortage problem. They also questioned Balakrishna on being apathetic towards his constituency, claiming that the MLA is least bothered about their demands and towards the people of Lepakshi Mandal.
However, cops have entered the scene and pacified the distress of ladies at the right time. On the other hand, Balakrishna too has promised to take care of their problems and will solve immediately.
