Three Directors, And Their Best Time To Retire

When directors are in the top form of their career, surely they will be delivering hit films even if the story of those films is pretty ordinary. That’s what happens with the likes of Rajamouli, Trivikram and Sukumar as well. But what about those directors who are on the edge of it?

In recent times, proven directors like Sreenu Vaitla, VV Vinayak and Puri Jagan are tumbling big time at the box office. Their films are lacking the pep they used to have once upon a time. All the last films of these directors including Vaitla’s Amar Akbar Antony, Vinayak’s Intelligent and Puri’s Mehbooba are huge duds. That’s what is an indication of the time for them, says cinema observers.

Though Puri Jagan is coming up with iSmart Shankar, and Vinayak – Vaitla looking forward to heroes, one more flop will add more woes to their remarkable achievements as star directors. Rather making many flops and losing that respect, it’s better to retire and give directions to youngsters about direction. At the same time, there are many other former star directors like Krishna Vamsi, Dasaradh and others who are still hanging around for a chance, and they too should consider the same.

All said and done, if any of this director could reinvent himself to the tune of the present generation, then surely they could come up with flying colours. Else, ufff!!
