In the latest episode of Karthika Deepam, Monitha accidentally checks Srilatha’s chats and finds a picture of the DNA report. She then realizes that Srilatha is aware of Hima’s birth secret and has been deceiving her all the while. She summons Srilatha and they get into an argument about the same. Monitha slaps Srilatha for the deceit and deletes the picture from the latter’s mobile phone. Srilatha thinks that she has the file with the DNA report at least. But much to her surprise, Monitha takes away the file too and locks Srilatha in the flat.
Soundarya comes to Deepa’s place to take Hima home. Karthik arrives and accuses Deepa of financially exploiting Soundarya for her livelihood. Deepa is deeply hurt by Karthik’s allegations. She protests adding that she never exploited anyone but in fact preferred to live independently. Soundarya also says that Deepa always denied help from her and that’s why she respects her a lot. Soundarya further asks Karthik how long is he planning to torment Deepa. Karthik tells Soundarya that she must be away from Deepa forever if he has to stay with her. He demands Soundarya to choose between himself and Deepa and leaves.
Deepa emotionally requests Soundarya not to attempt to see her ever. She asks Soundarya to be happy with her son at least. Soundarya stays helpless.
Bhagyam visits Monitha’s clinic. Much to Bhagyam’s surprise, Monitha invites her to sit in her chair and introduces her to her hospital staff. Monitha talks high and mighty of Bhagyam in front of the staff. Bhagyam is overwhelmed with the reception. Monitha further butters Bhagyam and the latter innocently falls prey to her trap.
