In the latest episode of Karthika Deepam, Deepa accuses Soundarya of stealing her baby (Hima) right after her delivery and demands the latter to give her daughter back. Soundarya brushes off Deepa’s allegations, defending that she has done everything to reunite her (Deepa) with Karthik.
Deepa replies that Karthik doesn’t mean anything to her now. Soundarya gets annoyed with Deepa’s argument. She adds that Karthik will be devastated if Hima leaves him now. She further suggests Deepa to let Hima stay with him for a while until she sorts out the issue. Hima and Sourya return to them. And Deepa is left with no option but to leave Hima with Soundarya and head back home.
Srilatha tries but fails to take a picture of the DNA reports hidden in Monitha’s car. Monitha realizes this and punishes Srilatha for her audacity to search for the reports.
Karthik confronts Soundarya about Deepa’s sudden visit. Soundarya tries to dodge the topic. He threatens her that he would leave the house if Deepa keeps visiting them in the name of Hima. Soundarya gets frustrated.
Monitha finds Deepa waiting for her at the door step. Monitha is surprised to see Deepa all decked up in a costly saree and heavy jewellery. Deepa explains that she got dressed up hoping that the sentiment around the saree and jewellery might help her. Deepa further pleads Monitha to show her daughter. Monitha states that she abducted and sold her baby to a beggar mafia gang just to take revenge on her (Deepa). Deepa then gives Monitha a shocker. She tells Monitha that she has recorded her statement and will now produce it before the police. Monitha, who did not see this coming, tries to stop Deepa.
