The only competitor that would have come in the way of Samantha’s Oh Baby is none other than Spiderman: Far From Home. This Hollywood sequel is a fitting closing to what was addressed in Avengers: End Game (Iron Man’s death) and many thought that families and kids will embrace the film big time.
Guess what, in the last three days, the occupancy rate of what Samantha’s Oh Baby has in Telugu states at National Multiplexes has beaten many other Telugu films as well as this hyped Hollywood movie. While Oh Baby got 78% seat occupancy, Spiderman: Far From Home has only 53% occupancy. And Telugu films like Brochevarevaru ra and Agent Athreya got 58% and 57% respectively in the last weekend.
Meanwhile, Kabir Singh has just 57% occupancy but the amount being contributed by single screens too high that the movie is inching towards 235 crores nett collection already. Cut to Oh Baby the film made 17 crors gross so far in the first weekend.
