In the latest episode of Karthika Deepam, Karthik gives Soundarya a sarcastic reply when she asks when he came home. She reprimands him for toying with her emotions and leaves without having dinner.
Karthik tries to apologize and pacify her. Hima intervenes and requests Soundarya and Karthik to eat something. At the dinner table, Karthik slams satires at Anand Rao and Soundarya for their plans to get back Deepa.
Monitha is frustrated that Karthik isn’t taking her calls. Monitha vents her anger upon Srilatha. She further reveals to Srilatha that Deepa and Vihari are like siblings and she (Monitha) planted the seed of suspicion in Karthik’s mind about Deepa’s chastity. Srilatha is miffed learning more about Monitha’s crooked mind.
Deepa realizes that Karthik has forgotten his mobile phone at her home. She is glad to see Hima’s picture as his wallpaper. Deepa then tries to check her name in his contact’s list. She is infuriated to see her number saved as ‘Maha Nati’ (the great actress). She curses Karthik for being so blinded towards the true actress around him (Monitha).
Deepa learns of a ruckus outside her house. She is surprised to find her neighbor reprimanding a couple for indulging in an illicit affair. On the other hand, the couple argues that they are siblings. Deepa relates to their argument and recollects how Karthik’s suspicion over her relation with Vihari must have grown.
