Sampoornesh Babu is the brand ambassador of spoof comedy these days. While the likes of Allari Naresh used to do such scenes in many films, there used to be certain limits but now ‘Burning Star’ is erasing all such boundaries. Here comes the trailer of his next film ‘Kobbarimatta’.
Taking the central theme of Pedrayudu movie, director Sai Rajesh aka Steven Shankar and his associate Rupak Ronaldson (the director of this film) have come up with a satirical comedy that dissipates each scene into bits and pieces with hilarious lines. And some punches on real-life incidents, some satires on film industry’s formulaic stories have worked in the trailer’s favour.
While adulterated adult dialogues like ‘Banam vundi kaani, daaniki padunu ledura!!’ by Shakeela are a bit massy, the ones like Sampoo asking wife to reduce the amount of salt mixed in the dough as his sweat is already mixing with it, is a bit awkward we have to say. Then the satire on Mahesh Kathi getting banned from entering Hyderabad city has worked.
Sampoo is playing a triple role in the movie as Paparayudu, Pedarayaudu and Androidu. Surely the film might find appeal in mass centres, while multiplexes many not enjoy such comedy. Apart from the hilarious dialogues, Kamran’s background score is noteworthy.
Directed by Rupak Ronaldson, Kobbarimatta is hitting cinemas on August 10th.
