Within hours of speculations about his resignation from Jana Sena Party floated by actor Pawan Kalyan and his plans to join the Bharatiya Janata Party went viral in the social media, former Central Bureau of Investigation joint director V V Lakshminarayana gave a clarification.
JD, as Lakshminarayana is popularly known, tweeted that he was surprised and shocked about rumours being floated since morning about him.
“There is a saying: rumours are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots. Decide to which category you belong,” he tweeted.
He said he would continue to remain with the Jana Sena Party.
“I will be with Jana Sena till the president feels that I’m useful to the party. Please don’t waste time on such rumours and rather use it for helping the flood affected, planting saplings, clearing areas of plastic, motivating youth and many more. Jai Hind,” he tweeted.
Well, it is not necessary that those who spread the rumours are fools and accept the same are idiots. Moreover, this saying does not hold good especially in the case of politicians, who are known for changing their colours quite often.
There are innumerable examples of politicians who simply defect to the other parties even after getting elected by the people from one party.
So, there is nothing surprising if JD defects to the BJP. If he wants to remain in the Jana Sena, let him be. It doesn’t make any difference to the common people.
For the media, it’s just a news!
