Prabhas, who looked incredibly massive with bulging muscles and wonderfully fit in Baahubali series is said to have weighed nearly 100 kgs then. However, the actor has later preferred a slim look for long-awaited film Saaho and shared a few tidbits on how he had put sedulous efforts to lose those extra kilos. Saaho is an intense action film where Prabhas needed to perform killer martial sequences. On this, director Sujeeth asked Prabhas to lose some pounds.
Earlier too, Prabhas made various body transformations for his roles and reaching the target was not a difficult task for him. It is reported that in spite of long shooting sessions, the actor never skips his workout routine. For Saaho, Prabhas indulged in swimming classes and cycling sessions. He also never skips cardio and heavy compound weight-trainings. Prabhas, who is fond of sports, is said to have also played volleyball a lot to lose weight. His personal trainer, Laxman Reddy, praised the actor saying that he used to carry dumbbells even on recreational tours.
Moreover, the whole crew is said to have taken a lot of meticulous care in what Prabhas eats. Prabhas said that he was supposed to eat only veggies and fat food, along with some chicken and egg whites. After all, eating high-quality calories is essential to reach the goal. For a height like Prabhas, one needs to have the best nutrition in order to get ripped like his smouldering look.
