In the last one year, BJP has lost many prominent leaders. Ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Goa CM Manohar Parrikar, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitely have breathed their last due to ill health. Instead of condoling the death of these stalwart leaders, an MP has made insulting comments and predicted that the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi would die next.
This MP is identified as Nazir Ahmed and is a British Parliamentarian. He tweeted, “Claims of sorcery, jadoo, magic, witchcraft, on BJP by the opposition. (Arun) Jaitley, (Babulal) Gaur, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shushma Swaraj, (former Prime Minister) Atal (Bihari) Vajpayee, Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa…have all died in the last one year. Hey Narendra Modi is next.”
However, this tweet has invited backlash and Twitter did not like it and disabled the tweets. Union Sports minister Kiren Rijiju did not appreciate Nazir’s tweet and questioned how on this planet did he get appointed to the Member of the House of Lords (British Parliament).
Even the Congress leader Deora found fault with British MP’s tweet and added that such comments are not commendable.
