Akula gives a shock to Pawan Kalyan

Former MLA from Rajahmundry, Dr Akula Satyanarayana, had left the Jana Sena, giving a rude shock to the party chief Pawan Kalyan.

While it is not known yet, whether he would go back to his parent party, BJP, rumors are doing rounds that he is likely to join the ruling YSR Congress.

Dr Akula Satyanarayana, joined politics just before the 2014 elections inspired by Nanredra Modi leadership.

He got elected from Rajahmundry City Assembly constituency in the 2014 elections on BJP ticket in alliance with the TDP.

He left the BJP just before the 2019 general elections. Though he was initially expected to join the TDP, he proved the rumor mills wrong and joined the Jana Sena. He contested to the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency unsuccessfully in the election.

Since then, he had become inactive in politics till he sent his resignation letter to Pawan Kalyan, the other day.

Akula Satyanarayana is not the only leader who deserted the Jana Sena. Former minister Ravela Kishore Babu, senior leaders Chintala Pardha Saradhi, Maramsetti Raghavaiah, Addepalli Sridhar and many others have left Jana Sena and joined the BJP.

Jana Sena Krishna district convenor, Paladugu David Raju, Jana Sena candidate for Kavali Assembly constituency in Nellore, Pasupuleti Sudhakar, have also deserted Pawan Kalyan.
