AP BJP coordinator Raghuram has acknowledged that TDP MLAs Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Ganta Srinivasa Rao are in touch with the saffron party.
Speaking in New Delhi, Raghuram said, “If the media reports are true that Vallabhaneni Vamsi resigned to MLA post because of the threats from YSRCP, then there is no need to fear. BJP will take care of them. Leaders who have no blot in their political journey are most welcome to join hands with us.” The BJP leader also said Vamsi has consulted BJP and YSRCP before resigning and quitting TDP.
Along Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Vizag North MLA Ganta Srinivas is also in talks with us, added Raghuram.
On YSRCP, he said, after the elections, CM YS Jagan has declared that his party doesn’t need any leaders as people are by his side but now he is threatening opposition MLAs and forcing them to join his party. In Nellore the situation is the same. YSRCP leaders are intimidating TDP leaders. How long will YSRCP do such politics and such things will not work on the long run.
Raghuram lastly said BJP is now a driving force in AP and has all the muscle to give a befitting reply to YSRCP.
