All is not well between Trivikram and Allu Aravind according to the industry buzz. They both had a fallout regarding Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s runtime.
The edit that has been approved by Trivikram was about 180 minutes and Allu Aravind suggested to trim it down by twenty minutes. Trivikram reportedly didn’t like Allu Aravind’s interference regarding runtime, which is director’s call.
In fact, Trivikram doesn’t like to take orders from anybody, which is why he has been doing all of his recent films on Harika Harssine Creations.
Allu Arjun insisted upon including his father’s name as the producer for Ala Vaikuntapuramulo. Allu Aravind likes to give his expert advice regarding final cut of his movies and he suggested the runtime to be as short as possible.
Trivikram is reportedly unhappy with Allu Aravind’s suggestion, but Allu Arjun stepped into clear the differences.
The final cut of AVPL will be around 160 minutes as Aravind suggested. But trimming down a finalized version is not an easy task.
Trivikram and his editor Naveen are currently analyzing what to edit out without disturbing the story flow.
