Allu Arjun: I don’t have fans, I have an army

Speaking at Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s musical concert, Allu Arjun said he took a lengthy layoff from movies as he wanted to star in a breezy entertainer. He waited till the right story came his way and this is when Trivikram approached him with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo script.

“I liked Samajavaragamana when I heard it first, but never imagined it would be such a huge hit. Thaman gave one of the best audio albums for this film,” he said.

“We have many experienced and seasoned actors in Ala Vaikunthapurramloo and I would like to thank each and every one of them,” he added.

Bunny further added he instantly felt Sushanth would perfectly fit a particular role in the film and he is happy that the latter agreed to do it.

Allu Arjun shared a cherishing instance, saying his daughter, Arha simply named his half coat step in Ramuloo Ramulaa song as ‘Dosa step’.

“I had never worked with a director thrice in my career, except for Trivikram. This shows my love towards him. I can’t use big words like him to show my love but I hope he understands how much I like him,” he said.

Allu Arjun got very emotional towards the end of the event while speaking about his father, Allu Aravind and shed a few tears. Bunny said he wishes to achieve at least half the success his father had achieved and thanked his father for producing Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

“I hope my father, Allu Aravind is awarded Padma Shri,” he said.

“I don’t have fans, I have an army. They stood by my side all the time and I can’t thank them enough,” he said.
