#ThreeCapitals: Jagan To Hit Back With Ordinance?

AP CM YS Jagan and his government received a setback last night with the council speaker Sharif sending the ‘Three Capitals’ bill to the select committee. On Thursday morning Jagan met YCP’s Rajya Sabha leader Vijayasai Reddy and other officials to take their legal opinion.

From the government sources we hear that CM Jagan is planning to bring an ordinance to get the ‘Three Capitals’ bill into implementation immediately. Jagan is making sure to go with proper legal process so that the ordinance may not face any hurdles once again.

Responding on these reports, TDP council leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said it is impossible to issue an ordinance. “When the Council has recommended for select committee, there is no way that the government can issue an ordinance. This is against Supreme Court’s norms. Also we did not ask for joint select committee but only council select committee,” said Yanamala.

On the threats of abolishing council, Yanamala replied that TDP is neither scared nor worried that the CM Jagan will scrap off the entire council.
