21-year-old college student of Indian origin, Annrose Jerry, who was reported missing on January 21, found dead in the lake last Friday in the US. Jerry was from Blain school and was pursuing her graduation at Science & Business University in Notre Dame, Indiana.
Jerry was reported missing on Tuesday evening (Jan 21) and she was last seen on campus around 8:45 p.m. After searching the campus, the State of Indiana issued a ‘silver alert’, as she was believed to be in ‘extreme danger’. She was last seen wearing an ankle-length gray quilted coat over a multi-colored ankle-length dress.
Her body was found in Saint Mary’s lake on the Notre Dame campus at around 11:15 a.m. and there were no signs of trauma or attacks.
A Mass in memory of Jerry will be held at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart next week. Annrose Jerry was from Kerala.
