In 2019 general elections the YSR Congress Party stunned everyone in the state with a mammoth difference between them and Telugu Desam Party.
They wiped out many areas in the state with 151 MLAs to their party’s name. Meanwhile, the internal disputes among the party members is troubling Jagan big time.
When the local body elections are on the radar, these internal disputes came out as a big hurdle for the YSRCP to show their authority on the state once again.
The local leaders in the YCP’s second-tier are very much dissatisfied with the High-Command as they are giving much importance to the leaders who defected from the TDP.
For example, in Pamur constituency, a YSRCP leader spent a lot in the hope of Sarpanch ticket but now the local MLA is proposing another leader who joined YCP from TDP in the presence of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The same scenario exists in many other constituencies in the state and there has been a severe fight for dominance being seen in the ruling party.
At present, Jagan is under high-pressure situations as he is dealing with the BJP at the center with the utmost care and is handling the high court who are very serious about his monarchial decisions.
At this point the internal clashes in the party before the local elections is the last thing he wants.
