Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy and his brother Kondal Reddy are said to be involved in an illegal land encroachment and detailed report regarding the same was prepared by Rangareddy district Collector and it was forwarded to Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.
Going into details, 10.21 acres of land in Gopanpalli of Serilingampalli mandal with survey numbers 127 is identified by Revanth and his brother Kondal Reddy. Out of this Revanth has acquired 6 acres of 7 guntas of land through illegal means and for this Serilingampally Tahsildhar Srinivas Reddy has helped the Congress leader. The details were mentioned in the report sent by Rangareddy Collector and learning CS Somesh suspended Srinivas Reddy with immediate effect.
Regarding the 10.21 acres of land, two separate petitions were filed in courts. In 2015, a petitioner by name Anil Kumar filed a PIL in Rangareddy Civil Court urging the court to stop Kondal Reddy for selling the lands which they acquired. In 2017, a writ petition was filed by Kolla Aruna and even she urged the High Court to refrain Revanth for bidding this land.
In the investigation, Rangareddy Collector mentioned that the real owners of this land are yet to be known. Getting to know that there are no real owners, Revanth and Kondal Reddy provided fake documents and through mutation process bagged the land.
How far this is true is something, Revanth Reddy should react. Generally he responds on every allegations against to throw the blame on TRS government and CM KCR.
About two weeks back Revanth Reddy has dragged My Home groups which has good rapport with CM KCR on the lands of Raidurgam. Seems like what went around, came in like a full circle for the firebrand leader.
