In a bigger shock to TDP after some of the senior leaders moving into YSRC, here comes an update that TDP’s senior leader Chirala MLA Karanam Balaram Krishna Murthy has decided to quit Telugu Desam party for YSR Congress.
According to reports, TDP leader Karanam Balaram is all set to join the YSRC party within the next few days and he is said to be meeting the party chief-CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tomorrow or a day after.
Karanam Balaram served as MLA, MLC, and MP earlier from Prakasam district, while his electoral debut was from Addanki during Congress reign in 1977. Balaram held the position of MLA for 5 terms including the recent win at Chirala against his arch-rival Amanchi Krishna Mohan.
Balaram’s exit from the party comes as a shocker to TDP with already other seniors like MLC Satish Reddy and Kadiri Babu Rao waves goodbye to the party to join YSRC.
