Yesterday minister Peddireddy claimed that 10 Telugu Desam MLAs are in touch with YSRCP and in the coming days they would look at CM YS Jagan. These statements created a huge storm within the party and the leadership wants to know who are those MLAs.
Ahead of the local polls, YSRCP is doing ‘Operation Akarsh’ and many TDP leaders are joining the ruling party. On Friday former MLC KE Prabhakar resigned to TDP and is said to be in talks with YSRCP. There was a rumour that former minister Sidda Raghava Rao will join YSRCP. But the TDP leader denied and added that there is no truth in it and would stick to TDP.
Already Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Maddali Giri are staying away from the party. During the ‘Three Capitals’ row in Council, MLCs Sunitha voted for YSRCP while Dokka resigned and joined YSRCP. Ganta has been dodging of leaving TDP but he is holding back due to reasons best known to them.
The above names have constantly made it to the headlines but as mentioned by minister Peddireddy, it would be interesting to see who are going to be the defectors of future. In case it happens, TDP will lose its opposition status.
