Rana Daggubati’s Aranya Release Stands Postponed

Handsome Hunk Rana Daggubati’s multi-lingual film Haathi Mere Saathi releasing in Telugu as Aranya stands postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

The official statement from the makers read: “EROS International has always kept our audience’s interest at forefront as a core value. Healthy and happy audiences have always kept us motivated to produce and distribute unique stories that have never been told before. In light of recent developments of COVID19 Coronavirus, our recent announcement regarding the scheduled release of Haathi Mere Saathi, Aranya & Kaandan stands changed.

In solidarity with our partners, exhibitors, distributors and audiences, we pray for health and happiness of all and as we are monitoring the situation, we do hope that we come back with a new release date soon. Stay healthy, safe and blessed.”

Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the lavishly made film was earlier announced to be released across three languages – Telugu, Hindi and Tamil on April 2nd in summer, this year. Now, it stands postponed.

Aranya is a story of a man living in the jungle for 25 years. The film focuses on ecological issues and deforestation crisis.

Vishnu Vishal, Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilgaonkar are the other prominent cast.

Shantanu Moitra provides sound tracks and backgrounds score while A.R.Ashok Kumar cranks the camera.
