Clear indications are coming out to the filmmakers that they can not resume the film-shoots till June. The delay will result in change of movie release dates. There is a strong opinion in the industry that ‘RRR’ may not release as per the scheduled date.
Though Rajamouli is saying that he will release ‘RRR’ in the Sankranthi season, the sources are saying that it is not possible.
If ‘RRR’ misses the Sankranti slot, Ram Charan is planning to replace it with ‘Acharya’.. He did not allot his dates to ‘Acharya’ because of his commitment to RRR.
Rajamouli felt that ‘Acharya’ should be released after the release of ‘RRR’ because Charan is playing a cameo in Megastar’s film. Charan postponed ‘Acharya’ to the next summer taking Rajamouli’s opinion into account.
Well, the situation has changed again due to coronavirus. If ‘RRR’ gets postponed to summer season, Acharya will be delayed further. Charan is not in a mood to delay the film further.
Now, Charan and Chiru are trying to convince Rajamouli so that they can release ‘Acharya’ in the Sankranthi season.
So, instead of RRR, the movie lovers may have to make up their minds to watch Acharya for the 2021 Sankranthi.
