Ever since Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo went onto become industry hit, there is a lot of attention about the film’s Hindi remake and Tamil remake. In fact, initial reports had it that Kabir Singh producers would produce the Hindi remake. However, we hear that the deal didn’t work out. The latest is that Allu Aravind and Radha Krishna aka Chinna Babu, the original producers in Telugu, are going to bankroll the Hindi remake as well.
Kartik Aaryan, who impressed with films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luka Chuppi, is likely to step into the shoes of Allu Arjun’s role Bantu in the Hindi remake. Kartik, who is listening to scripts on video calls, said to have given his consent for the AVPL Hindi remake and makers are most likely to cast him.
However, Trivikram is not going to direct the film in Hindi. Rohit Dhawan of Desi Boyz fame is going to helm the Hindi remake of AVPL. It’s learnt that the script of Hindi remake has been finalized and locked. However, Kartik is busy with his existing commitments including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dostana 2 and an Om Raut’s movie. So, the Hindi remake may take some time.
Meanwhile, the Tamil remake of AVPL would see Siva Karthikeyan reprising Allu Arjun’s role in the original. Siva Karthikeyan, who reportedly acquired the Tamil remake rights, is going to produce on his banner. Dhruv Vikram and Jayaram Ravi are also considered for other roles in the Tamil remake.
