The latest is that director Teja has enrolled himself for an online course about emerging respiratory diseases with the World Health Organisation (WHO).
The Sita director reportedly said, it was his curiosity about novel coronavirus that led him to take up the course. He also added that taking up this course in quarantine will mean he’ll be better prepared for such pandemics in the future. He also spoke about the syllabus which talks of epidemics, potential risk areas and more. By the end of it, Teja will reportedly take an online test and is also game to work for WHO as a volunteer if need be.
Teja also hopes to create awareness to those around him by the end of his course. While Tollywood sure has stepped up during the lockdown, helping daily-wage and migrant workers apart from the needy and even the middle-class during the corona crisis, this sure is another novel way of doing so.
